Our manufacturing partner's bronze crafting lineage traces to the mid-1700s, a heritage spanning generations of family knowledge that no modern facility can replicate or shortcut. When their foundry formalized production in 1987, they brought centuries of artisan knowledge into a precision manufacturing environment — and quietly became the backbone of instruments played by professionals worldwide.
As the demands of contemporary music shifted dramatically through the latter half of the 20th century — from the complex harmonic requirements of jazz to the sheer power demands of rock — the Deyson family's manufacturing expertise began to intersect with a new discipline: acoustic engineering science. Working alongside engineers who specialised in the science of vibration, resonance, and tonal behaviour, Deyson developed a set of specifications that would define what a modern professional cymbal should deliver. That convergence of ancient craft and modern science became the philosophical foundation of everything we produce.
Instruments built in this facility have long supplied professional percussion networks through distribution channels and OEM relationships — played by working musicians worldwide, under various names. Deyson is a family brand, and this is the family's deliberate shift: bringing this manufacturing heritage directly to musicians under our own name, without the intermediary layer. Every Deyson instrument is precision-manufactured in Vietnam to our exact specifications, with quality controlled by our team at every production stage, from alloy verification through to final acoustic benchmarking.
